Es justo lo que necesitaba están muy bienThese radios are great. They have plenty of channels and several nice features that allow for limited privacy even in a shared spectrum area. With a cable (yes, buy one, you'll want it) and support software (from dealer, very responsive) you can set several options. Those include battery save/scan cycle intervals, voice announce, and several per channel options, including a custom DCS and/or voice scrambling (garble). Mind you, scrambling on these has limits. This isn't encryption as much as it is re-ordering sample chunks (~10ms intervals?). This introduces a slight propagation delay, but does make conversations harder to hear. If one talks slowly though, you can still make out 80% of it. Better than nothing though.Hardware wise they're built very solid, have a great range, and good battery life. The charger is well built, and can hold/charge a battery with or without a radio attached (so can charge a spare alone). Charger self-limits, and does smart top-off when needed if the radio is left active in the cradle. The only down-side I found is that the VOX feature on these is... limited. Even at the highest level, the mic sometimes has problems hearing/maintaining enough to use it reliably vs the PTT button. It may work better with a headset, but with the built-in mic, it's not very functional. Overall, that was the only negative I could find, and for the price, and all the other features it has, it's a great buy for the money.UPDATE July 22: After a month or so, these radios have continued to impress. There are a few nice features not noted (voice alert for low battery, for example), and scanning both open and DCS coded channels. Used on a 12 acre area with a large ravine, and all parties could hear clearly. That includes at far ends and in the ravine, where even cell signals and other radio tends to fall or and/or vanish. Very impressed with the clarity and strength overall. Battery life tends to be significant as well, with standby time in the 2-day range. These are a great radio for the money. We have been using them for our church safety team communications. They have clear sound and are well built. They ship on low power .5 watt. We programmed them to high power and they work well throughout our building.Great walkie talkies for kids! These are definitely not like the cheap character walkie talkies out there. They have good range- was able to get a signal briefly 1.75 miles away with many houses/trees in the way. The signal didn’t last, but I didn’t try all the channels to attempt to get it back. I was surprised we even were able to make contact at all at that distance. The channels are very easy to change. There is a knob on the walkie talkie that you rotate to turn it on and as you continue to rotate the knob it changes the channel with an audible voice telling you what channel you are on when you stop. We have also purchased some cheaper retevis walkie talkies that have a menu button, a lock button etc. I always had a hard time figuring out how to change the channels on those. The dial channel changer on these is great and easy for kids to use.I also love that these are rechargeable so you don’t have to continue to buy new batteries. If you accidentally leave these turned on, it starts beeping at you when the battery is low so that you remember to plug it in and turn it off. Also comes with a belt clip you can attach if you like. Great to give kids if they are roaming around the neighborhood with friends and you want to stay in contact! We have used these in our factory for years. We have sketchy WiFi. The get the job done. Great for the price.read titleWe use theses around Rock Cliffs and hills. The distance it not anywhere near what they are rated for but it is still decent, at least a half mile with the hills, rocks, and trees. We do have a few caves and overhangs that they will not penetrate through even basically right on top of the other unit about 100 feet up the cliff, that is disappointing but if the person in the cave moves out away from under the rock they work fine. We also noticed a problem with one of the units when it was used in a rainstorm, after it dried out though it seems to be working fine. We overall are happy with the purchase, a bit disappointed about the rock issue but otherwise the sound quality and overall clarity is very good. They do seem to scratch easily but we work around rocks a lot. The plastic casing could be a harder and more durable plastic but for the price, so far they have been mostly great! We had several vehicles caravanning around town to look at Xmas lights "together"--each vehicle had one of these walkie talkies, and we were able to all talk to each other to coordinate where to go next, our thoughts on each house's Xmas displays, and just laugh and have a good time together while in our respective vehicles. We came up with this idea due to the current social distancing guidelines, but we think we will do this every year now because we all had so much fun!Excellent products and expedite delivery. We used it in a big farm, the voice was very cleared at anywhere of our farm, all workers were happy about it. We went back and bought a second set too. We had an old set of Motorola from Costco, it’s very noisy and in short distance only. Definitely I will recommend this product to anyone who needs.
