We use walkie talkies so my kids can go out in our small subdivision and let me know where their at. We had battery powered ones, which worked great but I was constantly buying batteries for them. The rechargeable part of this is awesome. I’ve only had one die and that’s bc I left it on all night.. but the sound quality is horrible! I have to ask my kids what they said 20 times bc it is so muffled… disappointing! If your buying just for play, their ok…My granddaughter loves these. We have 3 acres and they work loud and clear from all over property. Great valueIt worked for 1.5 mile range (clear and easy to understand). It started breaking up after that point. Multiple channels to choose from and hoods up well when dropped. Antenna great for small children.bought this for my five years kids and he love to play with them outside with his friends.so funnyI love this, I'm reliving my youth with these walkie talkies.I got this for my 3 youngest kids. Each of them will get a color. Promotes playing together, communication, and imagination in my little ones. They love it. It's easy for them to use. Its also a very giftable item, if you're looking for stocking stuffers as well.The moment you turn off the walkie talkie, it loses all the settings. Fortunately, they're easy enough to set. But it is incredibly annoying if you want to hand these off to you kids and have them off the default channels. It's such a rudimentary thing to save settings. I Don't know it could have been overlooked.These are a good size for kids. When I first saw the box, I thought they were going to be tiny. But they actually do a decent job of packing them in there.They use a USB C port so they're quick to charge. Scrolling through the menu is quick. So choose a setting, you click the PTT button. But it kicks you back to the home screen each time. There is a keypad lock out so if you do set it, the kids won't be able to change the settings unless they know how to unlock it. Or unless the turn it off and back on. On the up side the transmission is clear. So these have that going for them.I don't think I can recommend these based on their lack of ability to save settings. That's just a job half done.These walkie talkies are used by my kids for play. They have internal batteries (not AA) and charge by included USB-C cables. The range is pretty good, haven't really tested it but they work from the basement all the way to the edge of the yard.The set came with a pink, blue, and yellow walkie talkie, but two blue and one pink lanyards.They can be locked so that accidental channel changes are unlikely, but not impossible, for a kid that loves pressing buttons. They have an included LED to function as a flashlight.My main complaint is that the battery lasts about a day, and that they beep very loudly and annoyingly when their battery is low.Compre estos radios para mis hijos, sobre todo me llamo la atención que no usan pilas, sino son recargables, fue una muy buena compra, cada uno viene con su cable (sin cuadrito) para cargar, traen su correa y son pequeños para las manitas pequeñas de los niños, no tienen mucho alcance pero tampoco lo necesitan ya que son para jugar en el parque. Hasta ahora funcionan bien, la pila dura 1 día completo de juego.Funcionan bien y son fáciles de sincronizadar. Se escuchan claramente y la señal alcanza aprox unos 400m. Son resistentes y cada uno trae correa y cable usb para cargar la bateria que por cierto dura bastante.Me gusto que vienen solamente en una pequeña caja de cartón y no estan envueltos en platico o unicel adicionales y eso reduce los residuos.
