I bought this product and not others bcs how it looks like (minimal interface, completely colorful). I didn't want a confusing usual walkie talkie button filled interface to confuse the kids.I open the box and I see 3 different radios with various button configurations (none of the one depicted in the photos).Also the audio quality is kinda crap.I'm giving it 3 stars because it does work, and at least the three do work together (only one of them is USB rechargeable BTW, but I didn't care about that anyway)Ordered on May 20, July 20 update: The seller sent me the right model, now, which is too late as the initial gift need. Added an extra star for the free replacement. The radios ARE cute, and simple enough for small kids. The audio quality isn't great, but that's why it's also cheap. Pay attention that rechargeable batteries (for the USB charging cables to work) would cost you an extra $13 or so.We ordered these for our youngest grandchildren to play with, they seem to enjoy them and they work fine. One of the units has a on/off button that you have to play with to get it to work. If the kids didn't enjoy them I would have sent them back, but ended up taking the cover off and freeing it up enough to be "good enough". Also you can't expect too much for the price, they are pretty effective.These are tiny, pictures make them look bigger. They weren't a lot of money but they are just the other side of toys. Haven't let him use them extensively yet but we shall see, not much distance/power for sure. Take quite a few batteries, alkaline as well. Be ready to spend $10 every time you change the batteries. It does matter that when done using them that they get turned off or the batteries will last even less time. These may be perfect for you, I bought them for a 10 year old to use when he is around the neighborhood playing, to have fun with friends, or when out camping etc. I will leave more feedback once he has used them more.The set of walkie-talkies uses AAA batteries and are not rechargeable. I purchased these for my 11-year-old son to play with his friend in our apartment complex and they work great for that not sure how they work over long distances. We’ve had them for several months now and they’re still going strong.The walkie talkies are pretty small in size. My 6 and 7 yo boys thought they were pretty cool. They have held up through Christmas. I do update my reviews and any updates will be posted.My son is 3 yr old and he had a blast with them.These are used by my 4 and 5-year-olds. Other kids walkies we tried were too complicated and/or I couldn't turn off the sound on some of the features. You can control the sound of each feature. I also like that the channels have extra security so we know we're the only ones chatting. They are durable and have pretty good battery life. Happy for what we paid for them. The kids like the lamp feature but wish they didn't have to hold the button down to keep the light on. I disagree as it means that they can't leave them lying around with the light on, sucking all the battery down. But we can agree to disagree on that!Fantastic value. These work much better than I thought they would. They are clear and loud enough and they reach far enough for me to stay in contact with my house when I am anywhere on our 16 acres. They reach me in the garage, but can be too garbled until I get outside.
