Unfortunately, one of them won't take a charge anymore and she can't use them. She's pretty disappointed. This would have been 5 stars except they weren't very durable at all.UPDATE: I have gone from a disappointed 2 star review to a totally satisfied 5 star review. After I left my initial review, Retevis contacted me with a few suggestions to see if I could get them working again. They were prepared to send me a replacement if I couldn't get them to work. Although I am normally quite thorough before I give up on something, I had completely forgotten that this device had 4 rechargeable AAA batteries in each handset. I popped the batteries out and re-seated them and the handset turned right on.My daughter is going to be very happy when she wakes up in the morning and her Walkie Talkies are working again.Thanks Retevis for the excellent customer service!I purchased two sets of these two way radios for my 7 and 8 year old granddaughters. They absolutely love them. Good range, durable, good value and arrived as expected. I suggest you add a lanyard made of simple cord from your local hardware store so the little ones can hang them around their neck. Otherwise they will drop them and potentially break. I did this for my granddaughters and they were very appreciative of the convenience of not having to worry about hanging on to them all the time. Now they can run around with them and still have fun without dropping them. It happened twice and I figured third time charm so that is when I put on the lanyards. Problem fixed.My kids love these. I shopped around, paid attention to reviews and these had everything I was looking for in a gift. They aren't handled with kid gloves and have been dropped kicked around and stepped on (all accidental) and they kept on squawking. The Distance: the kids got 150 yards with a hill interrupting line of sight to the home and we was good reception.I bought these for my daughter to use in November of 2016 and about a month ago, one of the units stopped working. I contacted the seller and they sent me instructions to test the unit. I followed the instructions and the unit still didn't work; they sent me a new unit. We changed the batteries out of the old unit and into the new one and it works great. My daughter is having so much fun with them. I did not expect the replacement of the unit as we were beyond the 90 days, so I was very happy to hear that they would replace the unit at no cost to me. That is above and beyond what I thought would happen and I commend the company for the service and if you have a daughter that is interested in walkie-talkie fun; i would highly recommend purchasing these walkie talkies. A great product and fantastic customer service.These walkie talkies are so awesome! My 5 year old granddaughter lives in the apartment just below ours. We bought these so that we could talk to each other without having to use her mom's phone. They are a blast! She calls us all of the time just to say hi or to say that she loves us, or to ask if she can come up to play. Since the walkie talkies don't work while they are charging, this was actually our second set so that we could each have one active radio while the other is charging...it works out perfectly! The radios have excellent range. We have tested them to the next building over and the sound was perfect. We have no problem talking with each other as if we're in the same room. Son fáciles de usar para ellos, con muy buen alcance y recepción. El gran plus es que sean recargables. Mi único negativo sería que no incluyen una correa o strap para que los lleven colgados, eso es importante pues como son niños los pueden dejar olvidados con facilidad, pero se les puede adaptar uno.
