Only issue is 1 of 4 radios won't charge after first time useNice little radios with great range.Instructions are… vague, to say the least. Supposedly 90 scrambled channels…with no instructions on how to switch between them.You just have to guess, I guess.Surprisingly good range… Even worked through brick wallsI ordered these because I didn't want to buy those cheap toys for my daughter. We do a lot of hiking during the spring and summer, and sometimes I like to venture away from my wife and daughter to look at different areas. I took two of them to work with me so that I can test the range. Since these are the US models they operate right at about 2 watts while other countries only give you 0.5 watts max. On the jobsite I took these to we had no problems at all with range, or clarity. They are very loud, and clear. My co-worker and I were using them at less than half volume and were very impressed. During the 12 hour shift, and moderate use, at a distance of almost 1 mile using channel 7 (high frequency on our other frs radios) we did not have to worry about the battery dieing. Very good little radios. I will be buying another set of 4 to use with our Men's Ministry campouts. These things are super compact. My daughter is 4 and has absolutely no issues grasping, and utilizing these one handed. I recommend these.They sent the old walkie talkie version, used , with ear wax and no box or charger. I paid for a new item and didn’t even get the version I got plus it was used and battery life is garbage. The ear pieces had wax on them. Super nasty. If I got what I asked for it would be good but can’t believe they did that. Se t back but i wouldn’t buy from them you might get used ones with out you knowingI was going out of town for a trip and there were going to be two vehicles. I wanted a fast way to talk without being on a call 24/7 and decent signal. So enter these walkies. 1st and formost they are amazing build quality and the battery lasted over 7HRS of heavy use we left it in the vehicles overnight and picked up using them for another 4 hours on the road with no issue of signal strength and clearity. It lets out a quick chime "Low Voltage" to let you know the batteries are low a quick 20min charge on the charger while driving and we continued our last leg of the trip with them.Pro: Small/Solid Quality [dropped them 2-3 times at around 5ft by mistake still worked]/Battery life/Simplicity [open the box charged them for a few hrs turned them on and i was going no fancy set upCons: Range [I didnt do a special test but i was in a city and less then 1mile but could be interference]/Price [there are way cheaper ones with a wider range but i didnt want a huge antenna and i needed a smaller size for packing purposes and quality will be sacrificed]5/5 would recommend all day!These are great. They work with the frs radios we have - you just have to put the sub channel on the right channel! No one tells you this but for ours it was sub channel 21. So we set our frs radios to 5-21 and these to channel 5 and they work together!! The range is ok but far enough to work well for most situations we found ourselves in with younger kids. Light weight- we could clip them to our T-shirt neck while biking or dirt biking to talk. Worked great. Battery life - one charge per week of vacation. I actually have no idea how long they will last as they never went dead. Wow. The clip is good and robust - doesn’t pop off like all those other cheap ones on amazon. Charges with micro usb is super convenient. The ear pieces were cool as well when dirt biking or in public spaces when we wanted to get the kids attention but not anyone else’s.I got bunch of rt22 which are really nice for its purpose. thought I would give this one a try because of more battery.but... Voice quality and volume is too low... unhearable. you need to tie it to your mouth and ear to be able to hear anything. Clip is also very flimsy.
