I got these radio offs for while we are camping so it was easier to keep in touch with the kids while they were out playing and they love him so much then now we use them every day when they’re out playing with friends it’s an easy way for the kids to check in stay in touch with each other and not always be on a deviceWe use these for camping and they are great!!These walk-in talkies came up in my Amazon search for gifts for a 5 year old boy. I’m thankful for the suggestion as they are a big hit. It’s been nearly 2 months and these still get played with often. I ordered the 3 pack in case one of them breaks, I wanted him to still be able to use the two remaining walkie talkies and continue having fun. Other reviews mention short battery life but we haven’t experienced that with any of the three handsets. We explained to him that his toy lasts longer if he turns them off when he’s done playing and since the batteries are lasting, that seems to have been effective. Very highly recommended this brand of walk-in talkies and I won’t hesitate to buy these for the next 5 year old grandson’s birthday.Got as a gift, little bit of challenge to figure out how to get it to work. Definitely eats though battery. If recharge then it would be great.These work great for playing outside. Colors are fun too.Bought these for my children this Christmas, and was surprised at how well they actually worked. Haven't tested any great distances, but they were loud and clear in and around my house/yard, which is about a 5 acre lot. The only issue is that the talk button is not on the side, and is instead in the center of the walkie talkie. That is a design flaw that makes these otherwise good walkies a little annoying to use.The kids enjoy playing with these walkie talkies. I thought it would save them from yelling to each other across the house…nope! They like turning them up and making loud seagull noises to scare each other randomly. You can only imagine the ruckus that causes. Otherwise, these are great! Plus the flashlight is a good feature…until the kids shine it at your eyes trying to wake you up for a snack or something! Funny (but not so much when it’s happening). Good product though. We enjoy them.This is a sturdy well made product. Easy to use. We so pick up other frequencies often and hear other people talking.Three happy children ! Be aware of the channels as the children also managed to order a pizza from a local cafe two miles away much to our and the cafes surpriseFantastic little devices! Having three is definitely a bonus as has come in handy for play dates and family fun. My 6 year old daughter loves these. Lovely colours, and great sound quality. Only negative is they take 4 batteries EACH so make sure you are stocked up!I was disappointed that the colours were all so pastel and girlie as one of the 2 I had bought was for a 7 year old very boyish boy. I also was surprised to realise that each unit needs 4 AA batteries. The controls look to me to be a bit complicated for a 3 year old although I suppose they could use the basics.Because the one I have used was given as a gift I don't know what they sound like or how well they work.My children are 3 and 4 and they find these really easy to use. Great sound quality and range is also great.They do pick up other channels, taxis etc so need to monitor for bad language but we just change channel.Would highly recommend.My little girl loves these. Perfect for woodland walks and playing hide and seek. Really easy to use and different frequencies available
