I have an estate sale company, and I decided for this last job to purchase these because the house was so big. My employees loved them, distance or walls was NEVER an issue, 1 had 10 mostly young adults and teens using them, they aren't the most careful group and these still worked great. Battery life (so far) has been really good. My husband even heard our chatter down at the end of the road. Love the double charge cord. Very happy with this purchase they have become a permanent part of my business.Very dissappointed to say the least.This review is for Retevis RB28 Rechargeable, Walkie Talkies with Earpiece, Large LCD Screen,1500mAh Battery, USB-C Charging (10 Pack). I've used a few radios over the years, mostly in loud venues. I didn't get to test these in a loud venue, but they work well. The earpiece is comfortable, and it has the right setup. And by right setup, I mean it has the clear coil cord to go to the ear, so it doesn't look like a main focal point, there is a properly placed clip, and it has a clip-on mic with push-to-talk button. If you use these in a loud venue (i.e., concert, club, etc.) then you will want a better sealing earpiece that will offer some noise blocking, but aside from that these are good. The radios are pretty compact, and they have a really good, long, clip. By the way, you can use these radios with or without the earpieces. The display is easy to read, but the menu system is not intuitive. You need to refer to the manual if you want to adjust the functions/setup. However, the buttons are easy to use and well placed for just normal usage. Also, I like the USB-C charging. All electronics should have USB-C at this point. The double USB-C charging cable is nifty. I have actually never seen that before. So, you only need half as many outlets to charge these radios. Speaking of charge, these radios seem to have quote the battery life, and the batteries are replaceable. I was very skeptical of how these were going to work out for the low price, but they work very well. Obviously, there are higher quality radios out there for a significantly higher price, but at this price these are very good. These should get you through most jobs.I do want to point out that these are not water/weatherproof. I mention it since these has weather alerts. An impressive 2-year warranty is included.It’s amazing how you get 10 walkie-talkies! These are essentially plug-and-play. Once fully charged, take them out for a spin. Perfect for vacationing where the kids can be in a different area than you are. The battery appears to last at least for a few hours, however I have not had a chance to run them all the way down as I charge them after every use. For the price you, can’t go wrong!Controls are all done through the front buttons which takes a little getting used to but works well! I needed these radios for my crews and it works well for general communication through FRS frequencies. There’s also an option to use Retevis programming software for custom programming of the radios that also works well. I prefer using CHIRP for programming but no Retevis products currently are supported so the OEM software works very well. It’s easy to use and recommend for general communication use!WORK WELL ANDWE LOVE THE EARPIECES. WELL MADE AND SOUND QUALITY IS GOOD.These work great for a good distance. They are fairly easy to use out of the box. Most awesome when you want to push one button to talk on trips, camping and similar.
