I have bought a few of these speakers over the years, both for myself and for gifts, because I love them so much. My first one lasted over 6 years, and it no longer takes a charge, but it was an awesome little speaker while it lasted. I bought this to replace that one. So far it's been great. It easily lasts 2 weeks on one charge, using it every day for about an hour each day.I use this speaker in my cell culture lab because I can spray it with ethanol and keep it disinfected. That being said, it lasts ~5h on one charge, which isn't much considering what I use it for. For a shower, it would be great. The sound is LOUD but not amazing quality. It's totally fine for podcasts and just having some background noise, but if sound quality is your thing this is not the speaker to go for. It also connects to my phone super quicky which I love. Overall, it does the job and it's great for the price.lower your exceptions guys. some of these reviews are for speakers 5x it's price. For comparison, I do own a UE boom 2 speaker and used speakers that is 3x it's price. here is my reviewPros:-it's cheap-it's cheap-it's cheap-well, it's cheap-oh, battery life is amazing. haven't charged it in the month that I've been using it.Cons:-expect audio delays-can't feel the R&D. the powering on and off ability is the same as cheap bluetooth receivers from one dollar stores-audio clarity isn't it's best suit but for podcasts, it worksThis worked well beyond my expectations. The only thing I don’t like is when the battery is dying/almost dead, it beeps every 30 seconds or so so you can’t continue to play music without being interrupted and you also can’t listen to music while it’s charging. It lasts about 2 weeks for me, listening to it about 1.5 hours a day. I charge it in the morning and unplug it when I get home from work. Works great, easy controls and super quick connection to my phone.So I haven’t had this long enough to say how water resistant it is. I’ve used it about 4 times and so far so good. I wish it had a volume button on it and that it went a bit louder but it’s great for the price. Sound is very clear and so far it hasn’t needed to be charged again after the initial charge. Phone calls on here aren’t great though which is odd it gets lower in volume when someone calls you but it’s not badI bought this over 2 years ago and this speaker is amazing!!! My husband uses it every day when he showers to listen to sports podcasts. It’s loud, it has NEVER fallen off the tiled wall. He rarely ever needs to charge it - I swear it’s only been charged less then a handful of times in 2 years!!This little speaker has been amazing for us!! Highly recommend - would definitely buy again!!I like these speakers. The sound is satisfactory.However, for a newbie to this type of technology, their instructions are a bit sparse, almost like it was an afterthought to include them. Because, of course, everyone knows all about newer technology! *rolls eyes*.I am wary about companies that can't even be bothered to articulate a good set of directions for their products. So not the most user friendly if you're new at this, but it is adequate for the price.I recommend (albeit grudgingly) this product.Daughter and I love this lil guy! We sing along to all our tunes and only find it needed a charge once every 2weeks or so of daily showers :). Would like to see a volume button on it, probably the only flaw I have for it, able to change songs easily.The hubby enjoys stealing the speaker while we are in the shower, via blue tooth and playing something rediculous lol
